1. Sign up ✍️✅

Please sign up using our sign-up form! Spots are limited to 20 people to ensure the space stays comfortable and safe for everyone. The link remains the same for each meetup, and registration for the next one opens the day after the previous meetup.

If you’re unable to attend after signing up, please let us know as early as possible. We don’t have a waitlist, so once all 20 spots are filled, registrations will close.

Thank you for signing up – it really helps us with planning and making the meetup enjoyable for everyone!

2. What to bring 🎲🍫

We provide the snacks and drinks, but if you have dietary requirements, please let us know in the sign-up form. You’re also welcome to bring your own snacks or something to share with the group!

Regenbogenhaus offers a great selection of games, crafts and art materials to choose from. You can also bring your own short and easy game to share.

3. How to find us 🔎📍

The meetups take place at Regenbogenhaus, Zollstrasse 117, 8005 Zürich. The easiest way to reach us is by taking the outside stairs to the terrace and heading to the glass door of the House of Color (see blue arrow in the images below).

If the stairs are not accessible for you, ring the bell at the main entrance on Zollstrasse (see orange arrow in the images below), and use the elevator to the 1st floor.

4. Arriving and Set up 📄🖍️

Please arrive between 14:15 and 14:30. Arriving earlier can be stressful for us, so we kindly ask for your understanding. Likewise, arriving too late may disturb the group. We aim to start the introduction round at about 14:30, so please plan accordingly.

Upon arrival, you’ll find the following at the welcome table:

  • Guidelines: Take a moment to familiarize yourself with them if you haven’t already.
  • Name Tags: Write your name and pronouns to make introductions easier (optional).
  • Traffic Light System: Use this system to signal your social comfort level (read more in our Welcome Pages).

Afterward, make yourself at home! Hang up your jacket (if you haven’t already), browse the library, enjoy some snacks, make a cup of tea, or have a chat with other participants.

If you have any questions or something is unclear, don’t hesitate to approach a member of the Neuroqueer-Team.

5. Room Layout 🏠🗺️

The room is divided into three zones to cater to different needs:

  • House of Color: A lively space for games, crafts, and conversations.
  • House of Fluid: A quieter area for calm discussions and relaxing activities.
  • House of Books: A quiet space if you need some downtime.

🚾 Restrooms are located down the hall on the right and are gender-neutral. There is also an accessible restroom available.

6. Introduction round 👋💬

We'll start the meetup with a quick, optional introduction round. Feel free to share your name, pronouns, and your current favourite thing to do or favourite topic to talk about. Just a few sentences in English or (Swiss-)German are great!

7. Guided Activity 🎨🧩

We aim to include a structured and guided activity at every Meetup, as we know that many people in our community enjoy this. These activities are usually creative and designed so that you can join in without any prior knowledge or pressure. Participation is completely optional—you’re welcome to join if you feel like it, but there’s absolutely no obligation.

We announce each activity in advance via email and Instagram, so you’ll know what to expect.

If you have any wishes or ideas for future activities, we’d love to hear them! Just let us know in the sign-up form, anonymous feedback form, via message, or in person at the Meetup.

8. End of the Meetup 🧽🧹

Shortly before 16:30, we’ll remind everyone that the meetup is coming to an end. Together, we’ll tidy up the space – feel free to help with tasks like cleaning or doing the dishes, but only if you want to!

9. Feedback 📝🔄

We’re always looking to improve and make the Meetup as enjoyable and inclusive as possible. If you have any ideas, suggestions, or concerns, we’d love to hear from you! You can share your thoughts with us in person, via message, or anonymously through our feedback form.

Thank you for helping us create a better space for everyone! 🙏
